Faceted, slip decorated, and hand carved mug.

These are some of my favourite forms to throw at the moment. I throw a thick cylinder, and then facet the sides while it's still on the wheel and compress and stretch it to give it intentional irregularity.

This one is coated in slip and then carved into on the outside, and then transparent glazed, and glazed in blue oyster on the inside. It's got a big ol' funky handle on it, too. Honestly wasn't sure how I felt about it when I got it out of the kiln, but every time I look at it it grows on me a little more.
